A new species of mammal has been discovered in the mountains of Tanzania, scientists report.
The bizarre-looking creature, dubbed Rhynochocyon udzungwensis, is a type of giant elephant shrew, or sengi.

Hi folks,
Me making my first entry to this blog (thanks Brenda!!) -- and actually, to any blog at all. I've never been a blogger before..
I plan to post here the Primate News, that is, the links to any news that feature primates in popular or scientific mags, newspapers, press releases from the big series, etc. This is put together by the Madison Uni's library.
